Parth Venkat holds a PhD from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin. He received his bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics & Management as well as Biology from the California Institute of Technology in 2005. His research focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, labor market outcomes, and socially responsible investing. Prior to joining McCombs Business School in 2011, he spent 6 years as a consultant for Charles River Associates.  He also spent 3 years as a Financial Economist at the US Securities and Exchange Commission focusing on International Regulatory Issues.
